Rev. Peter Sean Scie, M.Div.

Rev. Peter Sean Scie, affectionately known as Pastor Peter, submitting to the Eternal Spirit, answers the clarion call to serve the beloved community by providing Christ conscious leadership, teaching, preaching, counseling, and mentoring. He aims to empower the beloved community with the Gospel of Liberation, Love, Justice, Affirmation, and Acceptance. Provide refuge and healing to all regardless of economic status, social background, affectionate orientation, gender identity, or educational level. He is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, now residing in New York, NY. 

Pastor Peter earned a Master of Divinity degree from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in 2019. He is presently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree at the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, Ga., He continues to advocate for the intellectual voices of LQBTQIA+ communities of color in theological discourse within the academy. 

Pastor Peter’s ministry experience includes

  • Associate Minister: Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, April 2018 – January 2020,
  • Co-Chair of Faith-Based Coordinating Committee Washington DC, Poor People Campaign.
  • Director of National Department of Evangelism, United Progressive Pentecostal Church Fellowship, June 2016 to 2018.
  • Founding Pastor of Christ Temple Ministries Church, Washington, DC established Sept. 2014 to 2017
  • Founding Pastor of Gilead Fellowship Church, Va. Beach, Va. 2012-2013
