Community Advocacy/Social Justice & Liberation Movement

We are called to be a change agent within the community, we are striving to be a community resource – both spiritually and physically. We are a community that continually seeks to understand and interpret what God is saying at this moment through the teachings and examples of Christ, other historical figures, and current events. Thus, as a Christ conscience movement, we are actively engaged in the spiritual, political, and social-economic matters that impact the community. We are a socially prophetic movement promoting the radical love of God, the inclusion of all of God’s children, and God’s justice. We are led by the Spirit of the Lord, who has anointed us to bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberation to the captives, give vision to the blind, and set free those who are downtrodden (Luke 4:18, paraphrased).
